Rosalba Dominguez

35 Rosalba Dominguez _D857312 v2.jpg

Rosalba is passionate about building partnerships with community leaders and has dedicated much of her career to empowering others. She strives to bridge the gap for individuals who find it challenging to navigate systems that can often feel daunting and inaccessible.

As a first-generation Mexican-American born to working-class parents, Rosalba has witnessed firsthand how a strong work ethic and a commitment to community can foster meaningful relationships. She credits her success to the mentors who guided her along the way and has achieved historic milestones, including becoming the first Latina to serve on the Murray City Council. Her leadership extends beyond this role, as she has also contributed to numerous boards dedicated to community advancement.

Now preparing to represent House District 35 in the State Legislature, Rosalba is poised to become one of only four Latinas serving in the Utah House of Representatives, reflecting the growing Latino population, which now makes up 15% of the state. Her life experiences fuel her commitment to serve all communities, and she views this role as a profound privilege and an opportunity to give back.
